1. Make your first stop at one of the participating shops between September 18 and 21, 2008 and pick up your LYS Shop Hop Passport. You'll also be given a LYS Shop Hop map showing all of the shops including the address and phone number for each shop. You can also print out maps and/or directions to each shop by visiting the Map page.
    
2. Visit each of the participating shops between September 18 and 21 and collect passport stamps at each of them. Build your stash and collect inspiration along the way. Don't forget to collect your free exclusive one-skein knitting pattern designed by each store when you purchase the yarn to make the pattern.
   
   No purchase is necessary to have your passport stamped.
    
3. Turn in your completed passport at the last shop you visit. This MUST be done during the LYS Shop Hop. If your passport contains stamps from all of the participating shops, you'll be in the running for our fabulous grand prize!
   
   Even if you don't make it to all of the shops, you still have a chance to win in a raffle drawing by turning in your passport with 12 or more stamps!
   
   Those with 19 stamps are eligible for the drawing for a $500 gift certificate to the store of the winner's choice.
   
   Those with 15 or more stamps are eligible for the drawing for a $300  gift certificate to the store of the winner's choice.
   
   Those with 12 or more stamps are eligible for the drawing for a $150 gift certificate to the store of the winner's choice.
   
   
4. You need not be present to win. Winners will be notified using the contact information they provided in their passports. The winners' names will be posted on this website as soon as it is available.

When you plan your route, don't forget to include rest stops and food breaks!
